360 Thank Yous, 2012/2016/2020
The installations 360 Thank Yous are created from360 hand-made and hand-written thank you notes, addressed to visitors both known and unknown. Visitors are invited to cut off the letters and take them home (or give them to someone else). Each variation of the piece is a chance to take a profound look around and think of everyone and everything one can be grateful for in that time and in that place. To this day, it has been shown in Savannah, GA (2012), in Brooklyn, NY (2016), and was adapted as a 360-day online project during the COVID-19 pandemic in 2020. Each letter is unique, can never be duplicated, and they are all archived in vellum booklets that accompany each installation.
